Cubs

Our cubs are children aged 4 months-24 months. We know how important routine is to new Mums so our cubs team will work around your child’s individual routine. Days are spent playing peek-a-boo, making hand paintings for Mum and Dad, being amazed by new sensations and of course getting lots of cuddles! For our cubs it is the start of a child’s Tiger Tots journey; it’s a big step for them, and just as importantly we recognise that it’s a big a step for you too.

Bumblebees

Our bumblebees are children aged 2-3. As they discover their own independence, we encourage and guide the children to further develop their confidence as we continue to expand their knowledge of the world around them. A bumblebees world is packed full with learning new stories, counting numbers, learning their ABCs and language development. It is all go in our toddler room – phew!

Owls

Our owls are pre-school children aged 3+. Our main aim is to ensure that your child reaches their full potential and is prepared for the transition to Primary School. This means introducing them to the 6 key learning areas in the Pre-school curriculum: building on their basic numeracy and language skills, physical, social and emotional development and expanding their knowledge in the arts and the world around us. The pre-school children are also developing bonds and friendships during their time in Tiger Tots that often continue into primary school – Oh how we will miss them!

What’s on the Menu Chef????

At Tiger Tots Day Nursery we are committed to ensuring that every child enjoys fresh and nutritionally balanced food. The team are passionate about introducing a wide range of flavours from a young age, from their variety of delicious soft baby foods, to tasty curries and homely dishes for our older children. Pop into our nursery around lunch and you will be greeted by a wave of yummy smells from the kitchen!

Meals are prepared daily in our own kitchen and weekly menus are displayed in the reception area. Got a fussy Eater – we have got a recipe for that! Give it a few weeks and they will be enjoying the home cooked food just like their friends. In fact, whether it’s fussy eaters, teething or sleeping problems, our team are always there for you with a wealth of advice and experience. Whatever it might be, never be afraid to ask, because we’ve probably been there before and would love to help.

At Tiger Tots it’s not simply about feeding the children – it’s about ensuring that every child is nourished, satisfied and healthy.

Knowing your child is safe is one of the greatest concerns for any parent. It’s why we have gone further than most with the fitout of our premises.

We have extensive CCTV networks throughout our premises with cameras on every external door, in every room and in all common areas including the garden.

Anyone entering the nursery will need to be buzzed in after identifying themselves. This ensures that nobody is ever admitted without permission. All children must be signed in when they arrive and signed out when they leave. Only parents are allowed collect their children unless we are notified in advance.

Tiger Tots is a member of the Early Years Organisation and we are registered and regularly inspected by them and Social Services.

We strictly adhere to the staff/child ratio so your child is never left alone and is always in safe hands.
